CDB Leasing Convenes 2022 Annual General Meeting

  The 2022 Annual General Meeting for shareholders of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd (CDB Leasing, 1606.HK) was held on June 28, 2023. Ma Hong, Chairman and an executive Director of the Company, presided over the meeting. Major shareholders, individual investors, Directors, Supervisors and senior managers attended the meeting. Liu Yi, secretary to the Board, reported to the meeting nine resolutions including an overview of the 2022 Annual Report and the Profit Distribution Plan of CDB Leasing. Shareholders presenting at the meeting voted on the resolutions, of which all nine were approved.

  In 2022, in the face of the complex, challenging domestic and international context, CDB Leasing effectively coordinated risk containment and business development. Concentrating on its core responsibilities and key areas, CDB Leasing ramped up its support to strategically emerging areas, green development, and inclusive finance, yielding more outcomes from its service to national development strategies and the real economy, delivering industrial-leading operational performance underpinned by good indicators.

  In terms of social responsibility assumption, CDB Leasing continued to carry out its mission of “Leading China’s Leasing Industry, Serving the Real Economy”. Grasping the opportunities of green development in the financial leasing industry, it strengthened the implementation of ESG concepts in its corporate business, and deeply implemented the core values featuring prudence, professionalism, trustworthiness and mutual benefits, striving to build itself into a world-class brand in China’s leasing industry.
